Development Specialist - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

We are looking for Development Specialist to join our Operational Excellence and Quality team located in Hakkila, Vantaa. This is a fulltime and permanent position.

In this role, you will

• Develop production processes, systems, and tools. Your work includes converting ideas and needs into specification and process design as well as following up developers’ work during the development cycle, performing final testing and monitoring the launch of changes to production.
• Support the end users in the use of production-related tools.
• Act as a production specialist in companywide development projects.
• Work as an appointed project manager in development projects.

The Development Specialist works closely with various teams and other stakeholders in our company. Main task is to ensure processes run efficiently and support PostNord’s strategic priorities.  The role combines accountability, cooperation, and desire to develop and renew.

What we are expecting from you

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience in process/ system/ tool development, preferably in the field of logistics. You should be data and IT tool savvy (MS Excel, BI tools), preferably have some experience of Agile and Lean ways of working and an ability to structure and simplify complex problems. In addition, you need good cooperation and communication skills, an independent, energetic approach to work and passion for improving the business through innovative solutions.

The language requirements are fluent Finnish and good spoken and written English. Knowledge of the Swedish language is considered an advantage.
